Welcome to VB Language Manager Pro. VBLM manages the process of translating Visual BasicÒ applications into different spoken languages. You provide the translations and VBLM does the rest.
Although VBLM is a powerful tool with many sophisticated features, using it is as simple as 1-2-3:
Step 1: String Extraction
Step 2: Translation
Step 3: Build Localized Versions:
In theory, that 's all there is to it. For practical reasons there is a fourth step -- Update -- because 1) a VBLM project file contains a lot of data about its parent VB project, some of which is almost certain to change over time, and 2) fine-tuning the string extraction options for optimum results requires repeated updates. See Updating a VBLM Project. and String Extraction Overview
VBLM has many options that you can set to configure and control it, but these four steps pretty well sum up what it does and how you use it.
