The top section of the language table editor edit menu provides standard commands for editing text and working with the Windows clipboard: Cut, Copy, Paste and Delete.
Below these are VBLM-unique commands:
Copy Original to Translation
Select to have VBLM copy the original string into the translation field.
Copy Translated to Untranslated
When you select this, VBLM examines all multi-instance strings in the table, and if at least one instance of each string has a translation and one or more other instances of the same string does not, it will copy the translation to all instances.
Exclude / Include String - Mark
Selecting this item on the edit menu marks the currently selected string instance in the language table as Excluded. Selecting it again unmarks it.
By default, all string instances are included and remain so unless you exclude them. Excluding a string instance is the functional equivalent of deleting it, though it doesn't really go away. See Marking String Instances as Excluded for more info.
Exclude / Include String - List File
Selecting this item on the edit menu marks the currently selected string instance in the language table as Excluded via List File. Selecting it again unmarks it. See String Exclusion List Files for more info.
Exclude / Include String - Source Comment
Selecting this item on the edit menu marks the currently selected string instance in the language table as Excluded via directive comments in source code. Selecting it again unmarks it. See Automatic Insertion of Comment Directives for more info.
Translate
If you have configured VBLM to work with any 3rd party translation programs (see Using 3rd Party Translation Applications), selecting Translate on the LTE Edit menu pops up the Clipboard Translation Window in preparation to call the program and translate the currently selected string instance (or any text you wish to type).
